The Columbia City Jazz Dance Company Performs in Austria
June 29, 1999 - Munich - Nymphenburg Palace!
This is the second part of amazing trip to Europe. We spent June 24 through the 29th in Bulgaria.
On our way to Austria we fly into Bulgaria to Munich, Germany. We're hardly in Munich for an hour and we don't even get a second to rest before we're rushed off to a short tour of Munich, which takes us to Nymphenburg Palace, which was built as a gift for the Electress Henriette Adelaide for having given birth to a son in 1662 after 10 years of marriage! The exterior of the palace is fairly subdued, but inside practically every surface is decorated in some way or another.
