Named "Best Dance School" by Palmetto Parent Magazine two years in a row, the Columbia City Jazz Dance School is an exciting facility where you can be assured that proper dance training is taken seriously. We have a diverse staff and feature classes in lyrical and modern jazz, pre-ballet, Pointe, and tap for the beginner and recreational dancer starting at ages 3, all the way up to advanced training for the pre-professional and special classes for adults.
There *is* a difference when you take dance at CCJDS! We have an all-adult staff and have developed unique teaching methods to insure that even the youngest dancer properly learns the basics and dance terminology and has a GREAT time doing so!
GUEST ARTIST SERIES
We feel that exposure to different instructors and teaching styles are very important in the training of a young dancer. During the course of the year we bring in top choreographers from around the world for our special Master Class Series, which is open to all dancers, regardless of the studio they take from. We will also have open master classes at various times during the summer and regular season. Keep checking our "Special Events" page for schedules!
